Ring Sizing

Available ring sizes will appear in our online shop by item. If you have any questions about selecting your size, please contact us.

Depending on the design of the ring such as the width of the band some rings will fit differently.

Note, when choosing a Ring Stack size, it is a good idea to go up by about half a size from your usual single-ring size.  Why?

  • Increased Surface Area: When you wear multiple rings on the same finger, they cover more surface area of your finger. This creates more friction and less flexibility than a single ring.
  • Compression: The collective width of the rings can create a "compression" effect on your finger, making them feel tighter than they would individually.
  • Comfort: Going up slightly in size helps ensure the stack is comfortable, especially throughout the day as your fingers might naturally swell slightly due to temperature, activity, or hydration.
  • Easier On/Off: A slightly larger size makes it easier to put the stack on and take it off.

A few other points to keep in mind when determining ring size:

Jeweler's Expertise: To ensure the most accurate fit, it's helpful to visit a local jeweler for professional sizing.

If you're not able to visit a local jeweler, then:

Ring Sizer: Contact me if you'd like a ring sizer shipped to you. Keep in mind these sizers are not as accurate as a professional sizing with a jeweler, but they are easy to use and can be helpful.

Intended Finger: Ensure you're measuring the specific finger the ring will be worn on, as sizes vary.

Similar Ring: If using an existing ring, remember band width and style differences can affect fit. To get the best fitting ring, ideally measure with a plain, narrow band. If you're planning on purchasing a wider band than your existing ring, you might need to go up half a size. If the ring you're using to measure is much thinner than what you want, consider ordering a full size larger. Be aware that large stones can make flat measurements inaccurate, so focus on the band.

Comfort is Key: The ring should be snug enough not to slip off but loose enough to comfortably slide over your knuckle with little effort and to allow slight twisting.

Multiple Measurements: To get the best measurement, keep in mind that finger size varies. Measure at the end of the day when your fingers are at their average temperature. Morning and cold temperatures can yield smaller sizes, while overnight swelling can lead to larger ones. Measuring multiple times during the day will provide a more reliable size. Measure your finger several times throughout the day for an accurate average, as size fluctuates.
