From her studio in New Bedford, Massachusetts, Anne Nichelson specializes in sculptural wax carving. After shaping raw materials into organic forms and artful textures, each piece is then cast in sterling silver or solid gold.

Today, her brand fortenna® is where that creative vision comes to life. The name fortenna comes from forte, the musical term for strength, and enna, which is Anne spelled backwards.

Her work is rooted in the Japanese concept of wabi-sabi, celebrating the beauty found in simplicity and the subtle textures of imperfection.
