Who can make fingerprint jewelry?
We love to see children’s prints, siblings, mother + child(ren), mother/father double-sided + child(ren), significant others, or any others that you can think of! even pets (partial paw pads or noses)! Create the pieces either single or double-sided.
How old should one be to create fingerprint jewelry?
We’ve worked with 18-month old toddlers through 92 year-olds! We suggest anyone 2 years or older so their prints are defined enough. If they are younger we can still create a beautiful pendant with their finger, though all the fingerprint lines will not be fully defined.
Do you share tips for how best to capture the impressions if we get started creating at home?
Yes! We send everything you need to start creating at home along with a link to instructions and a video. We also send printed instructions, FAQs, a size guide (template), and we're available to answer any questions.
What are the style options?

Metals: Since these are sentimental pieces that people generally want to last a lifetime, we recommend 14k solid yellow gold or sterling silver. Gold plated pieces will gradually wear over time though are still an available option for a gold look in the necklace style.
Keep in mind sterling silver pieces may tarnish, but a simple periodic rub with a polish pad and storing it in away from air exposure will keep it in good condition. Solid gold pieces can be worn everyday and wear extremely well over time.

If I create more than one pendant in the same size, how will I know which is which?
Generally, we can incorporate one initial on the back of each single-sided small or medium-sized pendant to represent the person’s name. If you have two pendants with the same initial but need to distinguish them (e.g., two children’s names that both begin with the same letter), then we can either capitalize one and make the other lowercase, or we can put one or two small dots on them.
How long does it take to get the finished necklace or charm?
Once we have the wax impressions, then your finished piece will be ready to ship in approximately 6-10 weeks.
